“Project Plan Sea” is the result of the owners recent desire of sharing the big family holiday home in the center of Santa Margherita, after it was closed for a long period and almost forgotten.
“We started a massive renovation with the idea of opening the doors to friends and guests who wished to spend some relaxing days on the Ligurian coasts, and to tourists coming to Liguria to visit the beautiful Portofino Bay and the Cinque Terre”
Crossing the small private yard, amongst the scent of Ligurian basils and Mediterranean herbs and stepping in, you immediately feel at home.
The 4 en-suite bedrooms are quite and equipped with all the basis to feel at ease; they are all grouped around the common space dedicated to free time.
“While planning, we kept in mind two principles we believe are indispensable when you travel: conviviality, that is the space made to exchange and talk, as well as the need of private moments, to share intimacy with your loved ones or to unplug and collect your thoughts”
The eclectic style merges accessories and lighting fixtures form great designers from the 20s to the 50s - Verner Panton, Vetreria Venini, Fontana Arte etc..- with antique pieces reinterpreted in a shabby fashion, which creates an harmonious and relaxing ambience set alongside contemporary objects.
“ We are happy with the outcome and we feel proud as we see this beloved home coming to a second life, wearing brand new and hand-made clothes. Our goal was to give it another purpose, still maintain its identity and souls alive: that is a space open to all the sea lovers and to all the lovers of our land, where you feel comfortable and welcomed like you belong in the family”
The location is the most convenient you may possibly find in the area: 100 meters away from the historical pedestrian area, with all the restaurants and cafes, a two minutes walk from the beach and within walking distance from the train station.
